Anime Impulse is a two-day anime convention that now takes place in two Southern California locations. Traditionally held at the beginning of the year alongside Asian Expo at the Pomona Fairplex, Anime Impulse has expanded this year to Orange County. The OC event is hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center, giving fans another chance to enjoy this growing convention. With events now in both Pomona and Anaheim, SoCal anime fans can experience this smaller con twice a year.

Although Anime Impulse is considered a small convention, it continues to grow thanks to the strong and passionate Southern California anime community. One of the unique sights around the fairgrounds is a display of imported cars decorated with anime-themed wraps and characters, adding extra personality and flair to the event.

One of the best things about Anime Impulse is that it has kept its entry prices affordable over the years. Currently, a two-day pass costs only $30, with single-day tickets priced at $15. This is a refreshing change compared to many first-time or larger conventions that charge $65 or more for a three-day pass. Anime Impulse remains a fun, accessible, and budget-friendly option for anime fans of all ages.
