Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting incredible cosplayers at various Anime and Comic Cons. While it’s true that not every photo makes it to my Instagram, each interaction is nonetheless memorable.

Consequently, I’ve created this list to celebrate these moments and highlight our featured cosplayers. Alongside each cosplayer’s name, you’ll find the date we met and the convention attended.

Why I Love Meeting Cosplayers

Attending conventions and meeting cosplayers has always been a thrilling experience for me. The creativity and dedication of cosplayers never cease to amaze me. Each costume tells a unique story, representing countless hours of hard work and passion.

Documenting these incredible creations has become a personal mission. By capturing these moments, I can share them with the world and preserve the artistry behind each character.

How Cosplay Inspires Me

Each convention brings a brand‑new wave of creativity. Seeing cosplayers bring their favorite characters to life fills me with immense admiration. It’s not just about the costumes — it’s about the stories, the passion, and the community that surrounds them.

As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing these moments. Sharing them allows these temporary works of art to live on in digital form long after the convention ends.

However, it’s okay, because a few of them still post the photos I took, whether I tagged them or not. As a result, the spirit of our encounters continues to live on through their social media, and I’m grateful for that.

Moreover, each convention is a new adventure, filled with unique characters and unforgettable moments. Consequently, I’ve grown not only as a photographer but also as a member of the community.

Even if my name isn’t explicitly mentioned, the moments I captured still hold meaning, and that, in itself, is reassuring. In the end, the memories persist, even if I remain behind the scenes.
