I met Ashe (@ashefrosty) back at WonderCon 2022, and the experience was honestly a great one. They were super friendly, easygoing, and made the whole interaction feel relaxed and fun. We ended up doing three separate photoshoots, and each one was a blast. Ashe was very comfortable in front of the camera, knew their angles well, and brought a lot of personality into every pose, which always makes a photographer’s job more enjoyable.

Their cosplay game only got stronger afterward. At WonderCon 2023, Ashe (@ashefrosty) showed up with awesome costumes all three days, and each look was detailed, creative, and well executed. You could tell a lot of time and care went into every outfit, from the materials to the styling and overall presentation. Seeing that level of consistency across multiple days really stood out. As a cosplay photographer based in SoCal who shoots a lot of anime conventions and local events, I’ve worked with many cosplayers, and Ashe (@ashefrosty) definitely left a strong impression.

Over the years, I’ve also run into them at multiple anime conventions and Southern California events, which was always cool. They were professional during shoots, made sure to get all their photos, and even thanked me afterward, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, they seem to have forgotten about me since then and never followed back, which is a little sad—but it doesn’t take away from the positive experiences we had working together.

Overall, I was very impressed with Ashe’s (@ashefrosty) cosplay skills. They are a talented cosplayer who can transform into a wide variety of characters with confidence and style. Their costumes are well made, their poses are dynamic, and their presence really pops on camera.
