I first met Jackie (@the.chatch) at Anime Impulse OC 2022. They were incredibly nice and friendly, and I’m so glad I’ve had the chance to see them again at various anime conventions and local events since then.

Despite their busy schedule, they always remain approachable and kind, which is truly commendable. Their cosplays are wonderful and refreshingly different from the mainstream styles you usually see, which I really appreciate. It’s unfortunate that opportunities to see them in person are so rare, as their presence always adds a special touch to any event.

One cosplay that really stood out to me was their unique take on Jack Skellington from Disney. I like to call it “Jackie’s version” of Jack Skellington. I was so ecstatic to be able to get some photos of this creative and beautifully executed cosplay.

It’s always fantastic interacting with them. They take the time to chat and share their passion for cosplay, which makes the entire experience feel even more personal, welcoming, and memorable.
